The ancient Confucian pentatonic scale of five notes... the five elements of Chinese Feng Shui: fire, wood, metal, water and earth... BLACK DRAGON uses digital samples from Oriental and Asian instruments and it blends keyboards with exotic Oriental scales and modes (and some Oriental percussion) to create a mysterious, mystical tapestry of music. This music is written for Western ears and is a perfect accompaniment for Oriental movement practices such as Tai Chi and Qigong as the meter is random and does not to interfere with the natural rhythm of a Tai Chi or Yoga workout. For Feng Shui, BLACK DRAGON has a lot more yang energy (strong, masculine) and adds more intensity and activity to your surroundings.

MARILYNN SEITS is a composer who studied Feng Shui & Tai Chi with Taoist Master Kwan Saihung in Boston and she has traveled to China several times to study QiGong and collect Chinese instruments to use in recordings.
