seraphim is an independent Canadian collaborative effort featuring Toronto vocalist and songwriter Seán Mealing, along with work by Vancouver-based producer and songwriter Keith Gillard of Fidgital and Tinman, and producer and engineer John Fyssas of Fyssas.com and Yaletown Sound, also from Vancouver.

The SERAPHYMNS CD was written, recorded, and produced over a period of two years and over a distance of 3000 miles between these three, with many internet and telephone hours logged within the journey between conception and completion.

The intricate and evocative soundscapes crafted by Keith Gillard surround and support the powerful five octave voice of Seán Mealing, as their writing styles fold neatly together to form unique pieces of music... infusing electronic pop with classical, jazz, and soul sensibilities.

The engineering finesse of John Fyssas provides the clarity and crystalline finish to each track, completing this triad of professionals with the sort of meticulous craftsmanship needed to bring each song to life.
