Sister Shirley McNeil was blessed by God with a voice for singing at and early age. Her singing brought her to Conetoe Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Conetoe, NC, where she still worships at present, praising the Lord in songs. Sister McNeil grew up in Tarboro, North Carolina. "The most insirational songs were given to her by God. She looks down into the hearts of everyone's spirit, and see that every one has a story to tell, about something, or someone, and God inspires her to write and sing about it. With her songs, she prays that someone will be touched and will want to take his or her place with God. Her singing career has taken her to places like the Bahamas, Jamaica and also New York; Virginia; and the entire Eastern Seaboard Region including Alabama and Flordia. Her goals and objective are to travel and sing the Lord's praises, with recognition as a world-wide ministry, also to save souls and help others who are less fortunate. Next, she was rewarded with another calling of writing her own songs and her first recording. This recording, dedicated to her Father and completed in 2001 is called There's a Bright Side Somewhere. The following year, she released a second recording in memory of her Father, Is He Yours. Also, with continue blessings in 2003, God anointed her with another recording, I Am Blessed. In 2004, she released her first successful video, Great Things. If you have a goal, Sister McNeil states, "you should go after it, stay in prayer and keep focused."
