Brad Shoemaker, Has put down deep roots in this land that he so earnestly sings about in "Land Between The Rivers"

Brad was born & raised on the east side of the mighty Mississippi, along the banks of the Rock River in northern Illinois. After his stint with the U.S. Army, Brad looked west towards the slower paced life of the Iowa country side.... Finding that it fit him like an old easy chair. So, he put his feet up... and watched the world go by.

Brad, like many other mid-western high school boys, decided that he would become a "rock & roll" star. Pursuit of this musical dream lasted long enough for him to realize that perhaps he would have to practice much more than the venture was worth. Alas, it was to late. He had become a guitar geek! After the "rock & roll" ERA had faded into the dust bin of his history, Brad spent the next several years in a musical gulag, playing endless three cord cover tunes, and contemplating the finer points of what musical key might be better, the key of A... or the key of E ? THEN... Came the hour of his enlightenment! Where upon, Brad thought to himself, "I shall write a musical journey through our Iowa history.... I will find the finest Iowa musicians, and together, we will celebrate this, our heritage!"
