Clever lyrics arrive in the layered vocals of songwriters Joe Lawless and Sean Bentley, amid the sumptuous interplay of 6 and 12-string guitars: jangling, chiming, buzzing, acoustic, electric. This is a guitar band, friends! Seattle music-scene veterans Mike Bristow (bass) and Jay Weaver (drums) provide the pungent rhythm, with occasional vists
from keyboards, woodwinds, and tuned espresso machine.

The band shares a love of power pop and their roots run deep and broad from 60s folk, 'sunshine pop,' and psychedelia to punk and ska, from complex 70s 'prog' rock to the concise, bittersweet dissonance of 21st Century 'alternative' pop. You'll bathe in nearly an hour's worth of 14 literate, melodic, danceable, power-pop gems, influenced by musicians as diverse as Elvis Costello, The Byrds, Sloan, The Jam, Wilco, Robyn Hitchcock, The dBs, XTC, Squeeze ... but always retaining a unique sound.
