Formed in late summer of 1996 out of Stamford, Connecticut, Sicboy is a band striving to be original, in a period of music that begs to differ. Sicboy released their debut album Artificial Flavors across North America in October 2000 under the label Attack Records. The band also released a well received follow up EP entitled Tease (2002) produced independently by Sicboy and Darius Szczepaniak (Sum 41, Black Crowes, Barenaked Ladies), and has released another EP, again working with Szczepaniak, simply titled 2004.

Praise for the 2004 EP:

"Sicboy have created on the whole a successful outing which neatly showcases their latest turn in direction..." (IAYM.com)

"A bit more raw, but in that good way... Overall, the 2004 EP is a tight package of 4 very strong songs." (Indieuprising.com)

"...gritty songs that are speckled with fairy dust of superiority-without the usual cockiness that comes coupled with success, albeit underground success." (Smother.net)

"Metal that really doesn't follow the metal-trends of today too much and at the same time it isn't stuck in the past either." (Past & Present Webzine)

"2004 is a fine example of how the band has matured since the winter of 2002, proof that some things do indeed get better with age." (CTMusic.com)
