SIECOX formed nearly two years ago with the union of sabrina siegel and chuck coxon. The two coming from different arenas of the art/music spectrum (sabrina's background as a visual artist/theorist/performance artist/opera singer/avant-garde musician and chuck's as writer and composer/performer in the rock genre, blend their sensibilities to create a completely new sound, free of classification. Their improvised music is both playful and intense, with a range of expression from the most feeble and small or soft of forms to the giant, hard, and horrible.
