Si-Fi was born and raised in San Bernardino, California, and was already performing by the age of 7. As a child he won many awards for his poetry and creative writing. As his musical and performing skill matured, so did his love and dedication to his craft, By the time he was a teenager, through local performances, showcases and talent shows, Si-Fi had already proven himself to be a masterful wordsmith. He maintained a flawless battle record, and was deemed champion in many local and national competitions such as the "Twisted Tongues" battles in Riverside and the "Battle of the Poets" in Las Vegas. At the age of 17 Si-Fi relocated to Las Vegas to further pursue his dreams of being successful entertainer. It was there the he founded the Academy Crew. A collective of the most talented MC's and Producers the Southwest had to offer. The Academy gained popularity throughout the Las Vegas Valley via a multitude of performances, local showcases, and independently released White labeled records, and is now known as the most prominent Hip-Hop Crew in Las Vegas.

Si-Fi's influences include a wide range and diverse group of artist, stretching from Jimmy Hendrix and Thelonius Monk to Fionna Apple, Del the Funky Homosapien, Blackalicious, and Mos Def. Being a musician, producer, as well as a poet, Si-Fi is partial to harmonic rifts and melodies. He also feels there must be a perfect marriage between rhythm and poetry.

As it stands, Si-Fi's focus is on providing intelligent and quality recordings that provide everything from entertainment to food for thought. His immediate goals include consistently advancing in both his musical and poetic crafts. His short term goal is to create a catalog of works that will touch the hearts and minds of people from all walks of life, and to exist with a timeless purpose. His ultimate goal is to own and operate his own successful record label, master his craft, and earn himself a spot among the legends he's tried to pattern his career behind.
