WORLD: World Traditions, NEW AGE: Healing
Details:
I created this CD with two thoughts in mind. The first was to share the joy and beauty of chanting as I experience it, with others. The second was to create a tool for those of you who want to try creating your own sacred chant. This CD provides listeners with almost an hour of chant and instrumental music. The tracks flow into one another harmoniously. The music sets a ground from which listeners can relax, stretch, heal or do inner work. The chants came to me while meditating in nature. They are an expression of the connection that I experience between heaven and earth, spirit and air, earth and fire, water and sound. The chants are simple, elegant, uncluttered and beautiful. I have included guided imageries for each instrumental track to help you get started creating your own sacred chants. For those of you who may want to know something of my background, here is a little more information. I am a musician and composer, holistic psychotherapist, spiritual mentor, interfaith minister, teacher and writer. I also lead events and workshops in personal spiritual evolution, consciousness, and creativity.
