His song subjects â icons, freaks, and other invisible Americans â are finally getting their due. The musicians on this album are soulful and spot on. The lyrics and sound reflect Bewleyâs upbringing in the deep south, his adventures in New York City, and his current wanderings in the City of Angels.
He proudly teaches English literature at the best public charter high school in Los Angeles.
