A former student of John Dowling and Leon Hunt
(UK's best-known 5-string banjo players),
David Neubauer established himself in the bluegrass scene
with his original approach of the banjo.

While shopping for electric guitars in New York,
David bumped into a 5-string banjo and tried it out.
He instantly fell in love with the instrument.

After adopting the 3-finger style (Scruggs style),
David experimented a few ideas and decided to
promote bluegrass banjo to a wider audience.

David has an mp3 album entitled 'Banjo rhymes'.
'Banjo rhymes' regroups David's own arrangements of
children's nursery rhymes in a bluegrass style.
From 'The Wheels on the bus' to 'Row row row your boat',
'Banjo rhymes' will take you and your children to the
foot tapping world of instrumental banjo rhymes
on the 5-string banjo.

David's future plans are to produce more CDs and
expose banjo music to as many people as possible.
David also regularly supplies banjo music to
media publishers for use on TV,
documentaries and radio commercials.

David is a musician member of the EBMA,
the European Bluegrass Music Association.
