Born in New Brunswick, NJ and raised by a single parent mother of five, Dawnwas said to have a powerful and sensational voice so closely related to the sound of Gospel at a very young age. Singing for as long she can remember made it natural for her to perform in front of one person or ten thousand people. Still figureing out that she was given a gift at birth, she had the will and drive to wanna share her sound with the people around her as well as for people around the world.

Singing for large numbers of people at a young age aided her into singing for millions today. She has always loved emotional, heart throbbing music and songs with meaning. Her focus was getting her audience's approval every time. This is what made her who she is: Hard-working, humbled, enthusiastic and focused. Her concern then and even more so now is her audience.
