Born 2 Die, formally known as Allen Jeremiah Sims, was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, June 4, 1979. His childhood was spent mostly trying to find who he was as a person and where he fit best in society, but it did not take long for him to find his love for music. He was inspired by well-known artists like 2pac, Eric-B & Rakim, Slick Rick. B2D states, " It was another way for me to let out the frustrations going on in my life". The first time this talented young artist got to show his art was in a sixth grade talent show, which he hosted by himself and created three of his own acts. He used instrumentals of his favorite artist at the time and used his own lyrics over them which he received first place for his performances.

Coming from a militant home caused him to move around which helped him become accustomed to different sound and styles which you can hear in his beats that he produces. . In knowing his love for music he has spent an abundant amount of time learning and playing the piano. B2D has a style that is universal and he feels that his lyrics can bring out any kind of rhythm or beat. He mixes his pain and other hardships with a light happiness in his songs.

In his lyrics he deals with his own, and the worlds tribulations by giving a positive solution. The worst fear he as an artist has is dieing before showing the world his talents and accomplishments. B2D feels the message in his lyrics should touch the youth as much as his peers. He says that due to the fact, "we're living in a world where the truth isn't but, should be brought out, and not left in the closet".
