Details:
"If you like fast and short-grinding, chunky riffs with an attitude then you will like Soul Fearing Gods (SFG)." This band is a native of Las Vegas and has been only together for under a year. With such influences as METALLICA, ALICE-IN CHAINS, GODSMACK, ROB ZOMBIE, and many others, the SOUL FEARING GODS delivers a mix of all styles combined into one for a complete CD of original songs that will leave you wanting more. There dedication to finding new alternatives into bringing back the hard-rock from a forgotten time is evident in their music.

No surprise, but this band's music was created by only two of its members. The guitarist/lead vocalist (Mark Bellerue) created almost all of the musical arrangements and the drummer (Tim Wiser) did all the percussions to create one hell of a pounding sound to the songs. These two originally met back in 98' working on the line in a kitchen. The two started combining their similar styles of music as well as their different influences together creating one unique hard-rock, alternative-metal sound.

It wasn't until recently the band started playing live gigs and needed a new member to add to the band. The bass player (Paul Landrum) entered the Soul Fearing Gods to make the band complete. His chunky, rhythmic bass lines add a new flavor and style to the music.

Wait no longer, these guys are definitely going to be up and coming in the near future as they have played so far in many respected clubs and events around Las Vegas and California, such as the House of Blues, The Huntridge, Prick Tattoo Convention @ UNLV Thomas & Mack, The Cheyenne Saloon, The Whiskey, and The Shark Club, to name a few.
