BIOS:
Jeff Young
Born and raised in Mt. Vernon New York, Jeff Young's musical education comes mostly from playing in rhythm& blues, rock&roll, jazz and reggae bands from New York to London and presently Los Angeles. Starting with his brothers band at age 15, he has played live and recorded with the bands of Jackson Browne, Sting, Donald Fagan (of Steely Dan), Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissette, Keb Mo, Shawn Colvin, Curtis Stigers, Donna Summer, Bonnie Raitt and Bo Diddley. As a lead vocalist and songwriter of the band Jeff Young and the Youngsters, he performed in the New York Rock & Soul Review with Donald Fagan, Michael McDonald, Phoebe Snow, Boz Scaggs in 1991 and with Blue Horn which also featured Mike Landau on guitar. Jeff has written songs for two albums before Soul Pharaoh: "Acting On Impulse" and "Noise For Neighbors". He also co-wrote songs with Jackson Browne for his Looking East and Naked Ride Home albums.

Sebastian Haimerl
Born and raised in Hamburg , Germany, Sebastian started playing Drums in local Bands early on. His interest in producing and recording music lead him to work in local music studios, before he made the final move to Los Angeles in 1993. Sebastian has since worked with a lot of great music producers including Rick Rubin, T-Bone Burnett, Ed Cherney, Pat Leonard, Sheryl Crow and Eddie Offered. Among the major recording artists he has worked with are Jackson Browne, AC/DC, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Jewel, David Crosby and Vonda Shepard. After working with Jeff Young on his first solo Album "Acting on Impulse", a great friendship developed which resulted in creating a company called "Malibu Sound Music Productions". As a new Production Team, their first Album "Soul Pharaoh" is a unique merge between cultures, musical visions and talents from around the world.
