Urban Rock Band is an alternative indie pop/hip-hop act comprised of rappers Sdaerd (pronounced Sa-dear'd) and "Lucky" Logan P. McCoy.
Formed in the Summer of 2008, after an experiment gone right, Urban Rock Band's main goal is to write and perform inspirational music that makes life a lot more enjoyable.
Deeply rooted in Hip Hop culture, Urban Rock Band has thrown out all the rules defining contemporary hip hop music to create a sound that reflects a more mature perspective on hip-hop culture.
Like all other living things in life, growth is inevitable. Understanding this dynamic and seeking to express it in it's music, Urban Rock Band's approach is a bold experimentation with elements from all styles of music to create a very unique sound aptly titled: alternative indie pop/hip-hop.
Hip-hop culture has historically pushed the envelope of creativity to create remarkable forms of self expression: it is in this spirit that Urban Rock Band operates.
