Michael Tomlinson is a Texan-born songwriter who has spent the last two decades living, writing, singing and recording in the Pacific Northwest. His songs were played extensively on New Adult Contemporary, and Triple A stations throughout the US in the late 80s and 90s. In recent years he has traveled sparingly, playing a dozen or so shows a years from coast to coast and releasing his records on his own Desert Rain label.

At Your House was his first release on that label after leaving the traditional music business. He has now recorded three solo-acoustic discs, At Your House was his first. The name came from his desire to create a record that felt as if he'd stepped into your living room and sang for a group of family and friends.

In late 2008 he will release a much anticipated album, The Way Out West, his first full band CD in over a decade.
