Acclaimed Milwaukee band spanglemaker is back with a new collection of songs for you. The CD, "You Want It", is the follow up to 2002's well-received "End of the Gray", which garnered great reviews locally and internationally. With comparisons to Coldplay, U2, Travis and Jeff Buckley, spanglemaker managed to appeal to a wide audience reaching far out of its midwestern home. The ONION newspaper described it as "a standout" and "superior sounding".

After a year and a half of playing in support of "End of the Gray", which culminated in a videotaped performance/interview for Time Warner's "Plugged In" series in early 2004, the boys in spanglemaker spent a few months in the studio with producer Kevin Sucher. Recording at "The Laboratory" proved to be just what the band needed. Although still lyrically introspective and full of pop hooks, the production Kevin lent the band has given the songs on "You Want It" a universal feel by making them unabashedly radio friendly.
