Spinaker is an Austin TX band playing all original music with an unstoppable combination of funky fresh lyrics, soaring guitar, dope beats, and ballin' bass, to create a familiar but distinct style of music everyone can enjoy. They are seasoned musicians who have played at numerous venues in Austin, Dallas and Houston including The Vibe, Waterloo Ice House, The Backroom, Momo's, the Red Eyed Fly, Texas Mist, Bigsby's, Steamboat, The Capitol Draft House, Fat Ted's, and the Scout Bar. Spinaker has played in the Dallas Music Festival, the Pecan Street Festival, and during SXSW. They are featured live on the Austin Music Network, and their involvement in the Austin music scene is highlighted by Mayor Will Wynn's pronouncement of December 11th 2003 as "Spinaker Day" in Austin.

The recent release of the EP "Shoes and Socks Together Again" is a culmination of the band's hard work and energy over the past couple years, showcasing the band's wide stylistic range and incredible talent.
