Ella Jo's second album is called âAlter Egoâ â it contains a mixture of catchy tunes, thoughtful lyrics and intelligent beats. It is difficult to quantify the songs to any particular genre as they evolved into varied styles of their own.

Hailing from a background of English Pop music from the 1960s Ella Jo experimented with different styles whilst working with a songwriter called Terry Bartlett who was also inspired by musical culture of the 60s and 70s. She went on to busk some of the material they had written and wrote new material, which was imaginatively developed by Spon. Embarking on a recording project with Spon in 2004, he had already produced Drum and Bass as Nostramus, to critical acclaim.

As we approach 2009 'Alter Ego' is now ready for the world to enjoy. It was mastered by one of the UK's top mastering engineers, Tim Turan in Oxford. We present our second album to delight the listener and nourish the world.
