BIOGRAPHY
EDDIE EDWARDS
Eddie was born in the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica W.I. into a musical and singing family as his Grandmother and mother (who fathered him) were Choirmasters for their church. Resulting from this fact and the conducive environment, Eddieâs musical acumen started taking shape and at the tender age of 3 years old he started to sing. As he grew older, performing in churches became common place.

As a young adult his interest in music shifted when he married his beautiful wife and started caring for four lovely children.

In 1984 he immigrated with his young family to the USAâ¦â¦.. New York City. After the children completed their education, the singing itch became unbearable so he started singing in his church. Amazingly his voice was very much preserved by God because He had a purpose carved out for his life. Before long, words got around, and the invitations started coming in.He found himself singing all over New York City.

Eddie is a multi-talented individual. In addition to being a busy Financial Services Professional in New York City he finds time to write, arrange, record and publish four albums and several gospel songs.

Although Eddie has survived 7 heart attacks, he is determined to use all his energy to promulgate and profess the gospel of Jesus Christ as a testimony and thanksgiving for His mercy and providence extended to him. Eddie ask youâ¦.How many heart attacks will strike you before you go home to your maker? Remember! It is not about preparing to meet Christ, it is all about being fully prepared.

Several years ago Eddie founded Soldier for Christ Gospel Ministry for the sole purpose of using music as a medium to lead the lost to Jesus Christ and to redirect the path of those who have lost sight of Him. Eddie has traveled across the United States, Canada and the West Indies proclaiming the redemptive, life and heart changing gospel of Jesus Christ in his own unique style of music.

Some highlights of Eddieâs singing career was when he sang with the Bill and Gloria Gaither and their Homecoming Friends on a Caribbean cruise in 2002 and when he sang at an annual convention of the Million Dollar Round Table, a gathering of Financial Planners and Insurance Professionals from around the world and When as a singing evangelist he sang in seven crusades in Jamaica W.I back to back as part of Pentecost and More 2008.

Eddie, affectionately referred to as âMr. Dynamic,â often performs at Camp Meetings, Churches, Crusades, Concerts Weddings Funerals and any Religious gatherings. In every instance he is careful to profess the love of Jesus Christ with passion and humility.
