Stringtheory's album has similarities to U2, Blink 182, The Cure, Live, and maroon5...

Fresh tunes and a truly unique vocalist...
Dig deeper into Stringtheory's music and there is something far more meaningful than just a song that stays in your head. The bands charismatic polished writing seems effortless and their ability to create up-tempo alternative pop seems disturbingly natural.
They create music for the masses: from their anti-war song "To the Unsung times" to their most requested track, "Fortune Teller," a head bobbing tune about snobby girls. There is an underlying theme in all the songs that make the band unique, well thought out lyrics carried by an infectious melody that delivers a truly distinct sound to pop rock.

Stringtheory's influences include U2, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and The Cure.

Here are some reviews for their debut album "Spin"...

"These guys have it together.  Their CD Spin is a compilation of 13 kick ass songs that keep rockin the whole way thru.  Leading off with "Fortune Teller" sets the tone for this CD.  After listening to the whole CD it's not a surprise that this group won the Best Rock/Pop Award at the New York Music Festival."
4/4 stars. Micro Cinema Magazine

"String Theory purveys a rich combination of sleazy lyrics, manic vibrato vocals, punchy hooks, and slow ska rhythms."
4/5 stars. State of Emergency

"Ultra-slick, pop-rock with equal-part-undertones of Jimmy Eat World and Duncan Sheik. Think: G-love on pixie sticks. String Theory are a pretty damn good Boston-area act, that most likely do well with 'dem female-types. Singer/Songwriter Costa Toulantas has a crystal clear vocal delivery and approach, as tracks 1,3,4. and 8 (the highlights of this album) will attest. Great overall band."
