Stan Young's first independant CD and his first venture into the Country Western vein. The album was put together as a complete tribute to the passing of his Father Richard who loved Country music. The (11) tracks are reminescent of early country music with a taste of modern country. On one track entitled ( Summer Fling ) Roy Orbison echoes within the songs structure and vocal ability. The songs on this album each create a funny or sad story. The song (Ilove my Dogs) is both cute and happy. This is also the title track of the album with his own Greyhound dogs posing on the front cover.
This album should be given a listen to as you will certainly believe that his dogs are loved. Also, pay attention to the ballads "Broken Man" and "The Hardest Part of Hurtin'". This singer is worth taking notice and paying attention to the lyrics and sincere delivery of each song.
Stan renders a heartfelt tribute to the men and women in Iraq with his song ( SOLDIER IN IRAQ ). Stan is currently in the studio putting together his 2nd CD of 16 tracks which will be released in September 2005. He will make the album available on this site as well.
