Steve was born and raised in Pawtucket , Rhode Island and knew music was going to be his life from about age 3 when he first saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show.
He and his family now reside in Kansas and hope to some day get back to the East coast as a permanent residence.
Steve was influenced by all types of music growing up and it is evident by what you hear on this CD. Beginning with drums, guitar, and moving on to bass by age 7. He was well on his way to a musical future.
Today he teaches Bass, Drums, and Guitar to young and old and runs a recording studio out of his home.
Influenced by most popular styles from the 60's through today's popular music. His music styles are diverse and solid in every genre, leaving you with a new taste in your mouth after every song.
16 months was spent on this CD and it shows by the creative styles and the production used to get the songs to the final product you hear now. Steve performed every task possible on this CD including all art work and graphics.
The CD does feature Kaitlyn, Steves daughters singing debut on song #5 "Life Of Love" and also few local guest musicians playing guitars and trumpet.
"WIRED" was done with the attitude of trying to capture a great feel for each song rather than trying to be a perfectionist and spending hours on end trying to have every little detail correct.
The groove is where it's at!
Much can be said for ideas that come straight from the heart and pour out from the soul instead of the technical aspect coming from heady thought alone.
