The Steven Kim Band formed in Los Angeles, California, in late 2001 when Steven decided to perform a few of the songs he had written at a local music and arts festival. Pitching his passions, Steven brought together an impressive roster of local players and after two rehearsals put on a landmark performance that kicked off a string of shows that continues strong today.
Steven has since played many well-received shows at world-famous clubs such as The Knitting Factory, Viper Room and The Whisky. Though Steven is classically trained on the piano, he usually picks up a guitar of some sort on stage.
In 2005, Steven released an EP in collaboration with up & coming producer Rudy Haeusermann (Matchbox 20, En Vogue) with aims to make some movement in the industry.
