Details:
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Storm Florez moved to the Bay Area only to find that s/he is not really a butch rock star, but a fire-walking sensitive new age guy trapped in a lesbian's body.

In May of 2001 s/he released her solo album, STANDING BETWEEN THE DAY AND NIGHT. The CD blends various folk rock styles with dreamy tales of love, death, romance, and basic scorpionic woes.

S/he completed a summer US tour with Thea Hillman: spoken word performer/activist and author of Depending On the Light (Manic D Press). They performed across southwest and southern states at various bars, coffee houses, LGBT pride events, bookstores and at cowboy poetÂKell Robertson's 71st
birthday party in an old saloon in Bernalillo, NM.

Storm was the co-founder and lead singer of the band Too F.I.N.E. Minds in Albuquerque, NM and performed with them from 1991-1995. They recorded two albums and toured across the Southwest and East Coast.

Storm now lives, produces and performs music and spoken word in the Bay Area.
