One of the true originals, the wildly popular Goddess Jams, combining R&B, funk, and reggae, have delivered their long-anticipated album, "Amma Rocks the House". Nine new songs, including "Temple," "Everything," "The Way," "Amma's Misfits," "Si Nos Pudieras,""Amma Rocks The House," and more. These hot new songs are a funky fresh mixture of the original Goddess Jams style with a lot of soul and groove.
This new album features famous guest artists Jay Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.), Herb Graham Jr. (Macy Gray, John Cale), and David Wilder (Macy Gray, Rod Stewart, Usher) and, of course, the whole Goddess Jams roster -- mad fusion underdog young talent with guts.
The songs range from the reggae/dub Temple and Amma's Misfits, to soulful R&B with "Everything" and "Let Me Cry", to super funky, with "Amma Rocks The House" and "The Way".
Goddess Jams played one of their more memorable gigs at Amma's Birthday for 200,000 people and is the famous "Alarm clock band", usually playing at Amma's Devi Bhava's around 5 AM, kickin' it up in the hall.
