Award winning singer-songwriter and vocal coach Susan Anders collected some of her favorite pop and Motown songs and translated them into lullaby form for this collection. The result are some simple, beautiful, and relaxing versions of songs from the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Carole King and James Taylor, among others. Her aim was to create a CD that parents would love and babies would nod off to, and she succeeded on both fronts.

"When I had my baby I wanted so much to be a lullaby singing mom, the way mine was. But I couldn't stand most children's music and I don't sing that well. Susan found popular songs that make beautiful lullabies even if that wasn't their original intent. They bring up fond memories for me and I can sing along and my son thinks I have a beautiful voice.
