The Sunflowers are Terri and Michael Taylor Fontaine, two seasoned performers who's credits range from appearing on Broadway, TV network series and variety shows, and in movies for television, to performing on theatre and variety stages all over the United States and in six foreign countries.
Their self-titled first release, The Sunflowers, is a collection of ten original children's songs written by Michael, with Terri handling the lead vocals, and Jon Walmsley (Jason on The Waltons TV series, and thirty-year veteran of the music business in Los Angeles and Nashville) producing, and playing every instrument he keeps in his closet.
The songs are about things we all hope to communicate to our kids: optimisim, faith, the importance of family, and seeing the world as a beautiful place.
