"Boston Massacre"
Suspect Device released 'Boston Massacre' on Pig Pile Records in December 2001 with much rowdiness and fanfare in the Front Room at The Paradise in Boston. The event was well attended, the club reached capacity by 9:30pm and bar sales toppled records.

In June 2002, Suspect Device completed their first midwest - east coast tour rocking multiple clubs in Indianapolis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Rochester and New York City. Fall found them going back and hitting some of these same cities again. Most recently, Suspect Device has been asked to play with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones at The Hometown Throwdown on December 14.

Airplay:
Local radio stations WFNX, WBCN, WMBR, WMFO, WSHL, and more have regularly been playing a variety of tracks off 'Boston Massacre' consistently since its release. Most recently, Suspect Device played live on WFMU 91.1 in NYC/NJ. "Boston Massacre" has been seeing rotation throughout the northeast and greater New York state. The 12 song recording, engineered and produced by Mark Tanzer (Bob Mould, 6L6, Aimee Mann, NRBQ, Carly Simon), is strong from start to finish.

Live:
Suspect Device puts the rock back in punk rock. They're a raucous crowd pleaser with influences across multiple styles including punk, reggae, Motown, rock, and blues. The fans are part of the show, bouncing around as they sing along, sometimes jumping onstage...whether they know the words or not. With a consistent draw in the Boston and Providence areas, look for Suspect Device to be expanding their horizons soon - maybe in your town!

Previous releases:
Suspect Device independently released their first self-titled EP in March 2000. From that recording, the song "Small Rebellions" was
picked up for the Runt of the Litter vol. 5 compilation. In the summer of 2001, they contributed the song "Bitterest Pill" to The Scene of the Crime compilation in which 24 New England bands queued up to record the entire CD in 24 hours.

Bio:
The band was founded in 1998 with Jason Bennett writing and playing guitar, and Chris playing bass. While started as a trio, Matt Walsh was added later that year because he kept hanging around practice until the band realized what a ferocious guitar player he was. Josh Bloomer (former Mi6) joined as the permanent drummer Spring 2000 to complete the line up.
