group, they have already self-produced two albums, developed a

Sweet Sweet Candy was formed out of a series of
house parties. The band began to fine-tune their lineup and
develop their sound, moving from a funk-jam sound to a more
multi-faceted assortment of musical influences. As their
sound has developed, their loyal fan base has multiplied.

Sweet Sweet Candy draws from a wide variety musical
backgrounds. Many draw from classical training, others
from a purely jazz style, but each player adds their own
secret ingredient to the mix. Their songs, usually written by
multiple band members, are groovy, eclectic, and sure to
make your body move. The band plays original material
with influences ranging from Frank Zappa, to Groove
Collective and James Brown.
