BIOGRAPHY

All you have to do is be in the room to recognize the talent that is evident in TACO's rhythmic style and enthusiastic performance. Their percussive attack and powerful driving melodies demand attention from every audience. Composed of 3 musicians with diverse musical backgrounds TACO produces a sound like no other.

Formed in the spring of 2002, TACO is Northern VA's answer for an all-original-blend of roots- rock , alternative, pop, and Funk for the soul. Since the release of their CD, "Beginnings" TACO continues to make quite a name for themselves. Playing on average 10 or more venues a month and having a regional fan base consisting of VA, MD, and PA, their tireless commitment to the music and their fans is proven time and time again.

SPIKE BURTON

The lyrics from their original songs and singer/songwriter Spike's raw textured voice immediately draw the audience into the show. Combining his powerful stage presence with passionate, dynamic guitar playing; front man Spike brings the word into the street with messenger-like delivery.

DAN RADFORD

Up from the deep, thunderous low end of the bass world enters Dan Radford. His sophisticated, intricate bass lines weave in and out of the melody with his own trademark style.

MIKE PIPOLY

Keeping TACO in check is drummer Mike Pipoly and his groove driven flavor. With energetic style & precision Mike cements TACO's well developed sound.
