Congo SWB. What started out as a simple Praise Worship Service for The First Congregational Church of Western Springs 8-10 years ago has morphed into a project that combines a bunch of over-the-hill rockers with an ever-changing group of high school and aspiring young adult musicians. And, while we clearly work in support of a vibrant contemporary worship ministry â the efforts of this band have also become a ministry unto itself. Even with our ever changing make-up â we always love making music together.

This work contains a compilation of songs from SWB that are either original works â or have stood the test of time in terms of being songs that we never tire of performing. As you listen, we hope youâll hear our beliefs â words of love, hope, faith, equality, praise and Grace. Youâll hear young voices we felt needed to be captured and a message that rings through twice â âWithout Love â It Doesnât Mean a Thing.â
