Andrea Carnell, has been singing and writing music since the age of fourteen. In 1996 at age sixteen, Miss Carnell released her own record "Walkaway" on her (at the time )label "Curvy Records" . Met with moderate success and a bright future waiting . Offers to work with Masters at work, David Morales and Todd Terry poured in. She declined and pursued her education. She decided to take a 10 year break from the world of dance music. Within that time she vocally trained for 10 years straight and learned how to produce her own tracks through training from one of New York's top engineers. Andrea Carnell resurfaced in 2006/2007 with her self produced , written and sung song titled "Malfunction" the record was quickly picked up by Miswax Records and remixed by Chris Moody and David Despigne plus more. Miswax saw much success with the release and it helped spread the name of Andrea Carnell. With write ups and charting and big name Dj's supporting the record. It clearly was becoming a underground favorite. Even made on it on a Xm, Sirius and Italian radio. Its become wildly popular for the Coronita series in the latin dance community. Carnell left Miswax and moved to Kult Records. They released her second single "There is a place" which definitely had a lot more commercial appeal and support from dance radio and Dj's around the world.
