Tarmakeo is one of Australia's most prolific composers and longtime exponent of world,fusion and ambient music. He has followed a diverse and fascinating path into the world of music and healing. He has travelled extensively to absorb cultures and to feel out haunting atmospheres to enrich his music. He has a solid grounding in composing, jamming and playing with musicians from all around the globe. A master at improvisation. Among his influences are Indian, Latin, Brazilian, African,Indonesian, American Indian, Aboriginal and Shamanistic tribal music.
Tarmakeo blends indigenous with rock, jazz, folk, funk, classical,trance and ambience to give his work a unique power.

"Music is the ultimate artform and healing tool.For me it is expression,an outlet for my creativity,a way of communicating both with musicians and listeners,a way of healing, a way to have fun,a way to be social,a way to be alone,the ultimate meditation.I'm a composer so I enjoy the act of creating and producing a musical work,but it's all just to arrive in this moment,here and now.That's it!
