Melissa Tartaglia is a jazz vocalist who loves nothing more than to praise the Lord. Her style is soothing yet uplifting. She co-authored almost every song on the album, both lyrics and music.

Melissa was born in California and after traveling extensively throughout the country has landed in Florida. Her home church is Calvary Chapel Worship Center, located in New Port Richey, where she is a major part of the musical productions glorifying God.

Standing only 5'2'', her alto voice "packs a wallop". Yet her lyrics and style offer the calm delight so many busy Christians yearn for and need. For those that like the "raw" jazz sound, you'll really enjoy "The Key" with sultry saxophone and a walking bass sound. Smooth jazz/easy listening fans will love "Fresh Rain" and "You're Alive", songs that celebrate the mercy and ever-nearness of our Lord.

The songs "Love of Ages," "One and Only" and "Mountain Top" lean more toward the contemporary Christian genre. ("Dance With Me" offers a glimpse into the vocal style of up-and-coming Christian artist, Kayti Hazlett.)
