When Tachina was very young, she received a prophecy from an associate pastor at church. It stated," As long as you stay in the will of God, God will supply your every need. You will never be successful at anything outside His will." With that in mind, Tachina set out to perform in a most profound fashion in several entertainment mediums that included church choirs, radio, musical theatre, and television.
"Bless the child, who has her own." So it is said. Tachina Danielle is truly a child with her own. Blessed with the gift of song, Tachina's mission is to sing to the glory and honor of God. And at the same time, share the gift He has given her with the world by demonstrating her profession, style and expertise by serving as a vocalist, composer, arranger and director of music.
Tachina has performed with such artists as George Duke, Phillip Bailey, Michael Cooper, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, John P. Kee, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kim Burrell, Kenny Lattimore, Chante Moore, and production team of Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, Swing out Sister, Dwayne Wiggins Tony!Toni!Tone! Coffee Shop and many many more. In addition, she received a personal invitation from the Honorable Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr. to sing at his inauguration. Tachina has also performed at the Oasis Gospel Awards in London England and shared the stage with gospel great Donnie McClurkin.

I wanted to be able to reach the masses because that's the reason that God gave me his anointing.  In writing the lyrics I just used personal experiences to draw from and God gave me the formula.  I had never written a song before and one night I was in my bed and I had asked God to give me the ability to write songs like "Fred Hammond", of Commissioned at the time, because his songs really touched your heart and inspired change or ministered to your spirit, and I wanted my songs to do that too.  Well, I was not "in fellowship" with God at the time but he awakened me out of my sleep with this song and basically began ministering to me. I wanted to let the people know, from personal experience, that no matter what the problem or situation, if we would just "Surrender" our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls to Jesus that He would work out anything else.

Tachina was inspired to go back into the studio after the success of her first album "Surrender." "The reason why I chose to do another CD was because I had a lot more situations/experiences inside of me that I needed to get out of my brain.  I experienced some major trials and tribulations since the last project, some were self-induced and others were devil-orchestrated, but I came out victorious and I thought the world needed to hear about it.  The Devil tried to stop me, block me, and do whatever he could think of to discourage me from completing the mission that God sent me on," states Tachina in a 2003 Gospel magazine article. She went on to state, "So many people were delivered, saved, healed, comforted, and set free by the lyrics from the last CD that I couldn't afford to abort this mission.  So, this CD is simply my poke at the Devil letting him know that though he knocked me down, I'm not distressed, but one things for certain, I'm Still Here!!"
