Talk Radio is a 3 piece power pop band from Denver. Mike Rust, 12 string bass, vocals and writes songs, Steve Madsen 12 string guitar, vocals and writes songs, and Scott McRae, drums and vocals. Their first CD "Supposed to be Good for You" countinues to get airplay and their song "Talk Radio" is used on 850 KOA in Denver as promo music. There live shows have been described as "wonderfully acerbic" by the Rocky Mountain News.

Here are some song reviews of the new CD Mixed Up.

"Let it Go" from Mixed Up

Great song
This is one of the best songs I've heard everything is great about it. The country type riffs. The jimi esque riffs. The vocals. Its all great guys. Please email ur info. I want to hear more. And def. see u live.

Country and then?
Nice intro, threw me. Excellent production, love the vocals. Superb bass and great guitar sound. My main pet peeve is lack of energy in performances. But this is drooling in energy. I want more.

"Fat Camp" from Mixed Up

strangely upbeat
Standard sound put together in original way! The hook is uniquely catchy. The production seems a little unbalanced, and the lyrics?!?...also unique. I can't put my finger on it...but the arrangement is random to me. But you made me listen to it twice so I guess it's intriguing...or short ;) Good job.
