An original voice in music. Tom merges folk, rock, blues, and progressive music seemlessly.

ROCK: Emo, FOLK: like Ani

Details:
Tom Romero is a seasoned solo performer whose repertoire of original material blurs musical boundaries, embracing elements of folk, rock, blues, progressive and adult contemporary. His songs are equal parts muscle and intimacy, and reveal a rarely achieved relationship between an artist and his craft. Romero's songwriting is truly eclectic, ranging from lighthearted ballads and adulterous love songs, to angry diatribes that skillfully skewer corporate politics, prejudice, war and religion.

Bump was two years in the making and features eleven new songs including the song "Amputee" which is currently making the rounds on local radio.

In addition to great new songs, the cd features a host of great musicians including Doug Lunn (Springsteen, Andy Summers, Mark Isham), Stress (IFG), Steve Markowitz (Derek McKeith), Steve Kim (Jessie & The Raindogs), and was produced by Stress, a producer who is making quite a name for himself in L.A. music.

Tom currently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2003 he can be heard covering Cisco's The Thong Song in the film Undercover Brother, and his song Amputee from his forthcoming CD Bump is in regular rotation on New Mexico radio.
