What started out to be a demo has turned into an awsome sounding CD. When I decided to record the songs that I had written, my intention was to simply make a "demo CD". I started out by looking for a studio that was close, had top notch equipment, and affordable. AMAZING what the web can do! I searched the internet and was fortunate enough to find Soundscape Studio in McKeesport, Pa. I immediately called and spoke with D.J. After explaining my intentions, what I thought would be at a minnimum difficult to do, I was assured that they could handle my requests. My next concern then was finding musicians that could turn my words and melodies into REAL MUSIC. Not a problem for soundscape. I was referred to a group of guys "thehouseband".Local Pittsburgh musicians Corey Congillio,Lou Ross, Willy Franklin. Corey contacted me the next day. I sent him the words and melodies that I recorded from my computer to a cd and he took it from there. He wrote out and arranged the music for the rest of the musicians. In just 1 day we were able to lay down Lou's Drum tracks and Willys Bass tracks while Corey did his magic on a couple guitar tracks. After the 2nd day I was convinced (with a little coaxing) that I should scratch the demo idea and record an album for release. Corey contacted some other local musicians John Parrendo (absolutely the most amazing fiddle player I have EVER heard) and keyboard player Tony Iello. In just a few hours we had all the tracks we needed for mixing. Thats where the amazing ears of sound engineer Doug Casper took over. Doug takes his work very seriously. When I thought it sounded great, Doug and Corey said NOT GOOD ENOUGH. (Damn, I hate those perfectionists!) And I think I remember Corey hollering at me a time or two when I wasn't singing to my abilities.(we still need to talk about that hollering thing Corey)We spent 2 days mixing, which is hardly enough time to mix 1 song, but Doug and Corey were able to mix them all. With the mixing complete it was off to the Master Lab. YEP! Soundscape had the answer for that also. We sent the Cd to Prarie Cat Mastering in Belvidere Illinois, where Mark Richardson put the finishing touches to prepare it for radio play. Next were the Pictures for the Cd . Thanks to Sandav Studio's in Rockwood, Pa. Then it was off to Disc Makers for the finished product.

Thanks to all that were involved!!!!!!!!!!
