The CD âcover girlâ is Sunnia Gull Pervaiz, the eldest of my two daughters. She was only two and left behind in my home country with her nine months old sister and her mother when I fled to the United States in my hunt for new world, new life. We remained separated for almost 7 years. While I worked on my advanced degree in engineering here in USA, my wife raised our children back home single handedly amidst her hollow days and lonely nights. What transpired later was not easy at all. I made a few difficult and painful decisions that I regret even now. But, later on, once I decided to be with my family, I never let any thing come in my way to stop me from doing so. Eventually, the life took a happy turn and we were together again. Two years ago, Sunnia graduated from Emory School of Business, Atlanta, Georgia with her MBA in Marketing. Her husband is Aamer Pervaiz, a graduate of the same school with MBA in Finance. Both currently live and work in San Francisco, California. My earnest wish is their happiness from loving each other forever. I wrote and sang this song on her âmenhdiâ ceremony â a traditional part of a wedding.
