Telly was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where the combination of hip-hop, R&B / soul, pop, house, raggae, and Broadway showtunes has influenced him to be a unique type of singer / songwriter / producer.

Already a familiar name on Broadway, Telly and writing partner Randy Witherspoon at MOPPTOPP RECORDS are getting ready to take over the music industry with their unique pop / R&B sound. He is currently working on material for a full-length album.

As a Chinese-American artist, Telly believes that, "Music is color-blind. Good music is good music. Period. It doesn't matter WHO is singing it. If the audience is feelin' it, then who cares if I'm black, white, or purple."

I learn from everyone of all different genres, and I feel like I am a blend of all of these influences... like a big 'yummy' smoothie with all these different ingredients in it being mixed in a blender!"
