Details:
Stone Tablet is the debut homegrown CD from veteran songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tom Getter Slack. It's a collection of well-crafted and highly listenable songs penned in a folk-rock/psychedelic-pop amalgam, which have garnered attention in a number of online distribution venues and college radio stations.

Stanislav Zabic of KLSU in Baton Rouge says: "The album contains 8 very nice songs. Tom handles his guitars well, and his arrangement ideas are quite original. The songwriting is impressive, and the one-man approach is admirable and natural."

Toby Thomas, who runs the online Silver Moon Music store, included the song "Can't Feel Sad" on 'Starflower,' a Medicine Park Records release that is an original-song tribute to the spirit of Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys. Other artists on this acclaimed collection include former XTC guitarist Dave Gregory with DIY legend R. Stevie Moore, and ex-Utopia keyboard man Moogy Klingman.

The lone instrumental on the album, "The Temple," is an eclectic world-beat number that has become a staple in the Trusonic retail music service, and has been played thousands of times over in a number of establishments.
