Vocalist Theresa Thomason's enormous vocal talent began to emerge at the age of thirteen when she won national acclaim for her performances in jazz, gospel, and rhythm and blues. She reached the airwaves with a single entitled "Fresh Enuff" and followed by a winning performance at the famous Apollo theatre in New York. During nine years of touring with her own gospel groups, she has had a succession of sold-out concerts in more than 150 European cities as well as in the USA. She is a featured artist with Grammy award winning Paul Winter and his consort in their annual solstice, missa gaia and earth mass celebrations at New York's majestic cathedral of St. John the Divine. Many of these performances have been televised on PBS and NBC, securing Thomason's box office appeal. In 1999 Thomason collaborated with the extraordinary composer Paul Halley on the Pelagos recording of "Sound Over All Waters", performing new arrangements and compositions created by Halley specifically for her. A new release, "Ten Hymns", is scheduled for June 2004.
