Fynan is a singer from Essex who has always been devoted to music. Travelling to Nashville and New Orleans in an old V8 lincoln at the age of eighteen to busk on the streets he was heavily influenced by the US music scene. Fynan spent a few years producing beats based dance music in the southwest, dark, dark electronica beat albums, living on a diet of drink alone in the sunny seaside squadies vs. crack heads retreat of Plymouth town.

A slow road to psychological recovery through the soul healing properties of surfing in the cold English waters took him to late 2005, where refreshed and new he once again picked up a guitar and started to write songs that were the beginning of his sound today. Since then he has been travelling, writing and performing as much as possible.

The first recording was in December 2006 titled âCatharcismâ which was recorded on the road in one country or another on a microphone in a room or an old tape recorder and pieced together with help from friends in Melbourne. This record is a time capsule of truth and emotion harking back to early lofi works by artists such as the mountain goats, beck and neil young. The next record was a six track EP called âRolling Ballâ This featured more detailed arrangements than previous recordings, recorded in studios in Byron Bay and Sydney with the help of Austalian songwriter Tanis and the popular kiwi singer Anna May. The calming influence of the southern hemisphere lifestyle can be heard clearly in the new music being produced by Fynan, along with influences from all the countries in the world that he has visited.
