The Band:
ThreeThreeSeven is from Pittsburgh, PA. One of the more well-educated bands around, both Garrett and Mike hold Masters degrees in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University while Jay holds a BS degree in Business Management and Information Technology from the University of Pittsburgh. Fortunately, they have lived long enough to fulfill a dream of recording together. Unfortunately, they have all worked for corporations with people who can suck the life out of you.

The self-titled debut album was born out of rage after Mike got ousted from the same place Garrett worked and Jay got sick of doing his bosses' jobs. The band name refers to the phone keys you press in a voicemail system when you want to "fast-forward, fast-forward, delete" some unhuman's banal message. We need to rock, not progress along an expectations framework to leverage core competencies. Puke.

The Music:
ThreeThreeSeven is rooted in hook-oriented rock. We like starting with catchy rhythms and developing songs with familiar structures yet varying themes. What's not familiar, particularly these days, is the prominence of drums driving most songs, the unabashed use of old-school guitar solos updated for modern audiences, and bass lines with character.

Listeners describe the disc as traditional rock speaking with a new voice. We recorded and mixed with an ear toward letting people feel like they're in a room with us live. You will not hear baritone guitars tuned down 12 steps, complaining monotonously side-by-side lyrics about the futility of existence. You will hear three guys laying it out, cuss-free, to make you say "That rocks."
