Sunny Jim, born in Texas and raised in California, lived in the Cayman Islands where he was artist in residence at the Hyatt Regency from 1988-2000. He appeared in the Paramount Pictures file "The Firm", singing his song "Blame It On the Rum". He was the first non Coral Reefer (Jimmy Buffett's band) to appear live on Radio Margaritaville and from outside the US, and has since been a staple on internet Trop Rock radio as well as Radio Margaritaville. His 8th solo CD, "Tropicool", is 11 songs reflecting life as a tropical troubadour. He currently resides in Florida, but entertains across the US, Canada and throughout the Caribbean.
