TOKE SQUEALY is a REAL rock band based in New York City. Michael Mostel and Alan Cohen are the core
members of the group and do most of the band's writing and production work.They are committed to keping REAL Rock N Roll alive. The band is rounded out by bassist Roberto Ruiz who is a sought after local session player & Robert Draghi is also prominent on the New York club and studio scene. Both Ruiz and Draghi, while busy with other projects, are commited to making TOKE SQUEALY a world-wide success ,while keeping the faith.

Michael Mostel:
Michael is the front man for TOKE SQUEALY and is a raw rock 'n roll talent. Once you see him live, you can see that music and entertaining are in his blood and there is no choice, but to bring his talent to the world. He has been playing on the New York scene for over 10 years, and has developed a unique vocal style and songwriting voice. He has been playing music for over 17 yrs live and the experience has payed off .

Alan Cohen:
Alan Cohen is a multi-instrumentalist who is also a freelance musician on the New York music scene.
However, his primary focus is writing and performing with TOKE SQUEALY. Cohen plays guitar, bass,piano and mandolin. He also programs drums. He produces the bands music The initial tracks for the album were all tracked live and finished up at Cohen's Chelsea apartment. Cohen does a good deal of writing for TOKE SQUEALY, combining his dry, lyrical wit with colorful and diverse musical settings. He is one of NYC's most unique and talented guitar players, mixing in classic rock riffs with other exotic scales and modes, forming a unique and modern rock sound.
