Details:
North Florida native Tony Young has went out on his own, after spending the last 6 years fronting the band King Cotton, and has released his debut, 6-song EP "With A Little Help From My Friends." On the CD, Tony is backed by long time friends and bandmates - Tom Corbett on drums, Ed Prasse on guitar and Tony "Fish" Sorrentino on bass. Also joining Tony on the album and his live act is John Beebe on keyboard, Scott Campbell (slide guitar & dobro) and Rod Jones on guitar. Other great local Tallahassee musicians also contribute to the project including the accomplished Mark Russell on fiddle, Tom Bevis (pedal steel), Mike Sargent (harmonica) and Mark Leadon (banjo). The CD was engineered and produced by Fred Chester at ESP Studio in Tallahassee, Florida.
