Details:
"The Australian Era" is a 2001 re-release of the 1973 album "Road To Gold"/"Big Rig Blues".

The title track "Big Rig Blues" was nominated in no less than five catagories of "The Third Wrangler Australasian Country Music Awards" in 1974 and the album went on to "Double Gold" status in sales, 1975/76.

This year 2001 release, has been ditgitally enhanced, to bring a superior sound quality to an album that is already proven and still has the ingredients, of a class performance.

Australian heritage...prospectors, railroads, transport drivers, mining towns, Lassiters "Reef of Gold", the finding of lead and zinc at Broken Hill, moved Tom and Joe to writing songs about this great land.

This Australian country music recording shows the versatility of Tom Lambert as an artist and writer, a man, who I am sure will go on to become one of country musics top star's.
